Our Clubhouse Facilities
The clubhouse is modern and well-appointed, the bar and galley having been refurbished in 2010 and with superb sea views both from within the clubhouse and from the extensive balcony. The bar is fully staffed and the galley is operated as a franchise so there is no “rota” to be performed by members as is customary in some clubs. We have an active social calendar with events including the regatta, Commodore’s reception, and ever-popular quiz nights.
ECA Bar
ECA has a modern and well equipped bar with a wide range of drinks at discounted prices. The bar is is well supported by the members throughout the year. We have many social functions (a list of which can be found here) and regular events such as raffles, parties and quizzes. Bar opening times are:Tuesday – Thursday 12-2:30pm Monday – Thursday 6pm-11pmFriday and Saturday 12-11pm, Sunday 12-10:30pm.
Galley
ECA galley is open for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday and offers a varied and good value menu throughout the year. The gallery is open in the mornings for tea and coffee and also has regular evening events such as the summertime Wednesday night curry following the sailing events. Galley opening times are:Wednesday-Fri 12-2.30pm/Sat & Sun 12-2:3pm. The galley also offers Sunday lunch – however this is very popular and booking is essential – call 023 92 827396
Changing Facilities and Family Changing Room
A family changing and shower (and toilet facilities for the disabled) is available on the ground floor.
Disabled Lift
The clubhouse has a brand new disabled lift giving everyone easy access to the bar and a galley.
